Swindon Studio Transformation

We are delighted to announce the new bulthaup b1, b2 and b3 kitchen displays at our Swindon showroom are ready for visitors to experience. The expansive 5000sqft showroom boasts the very latest in contemporary bulthaup kitchens complemented by Rimadesio and Carl Hansen & Son furniture. The meticulously designed and installed kitchen displays are a cook’s dream; each includes feature-rich appliances from Gaggenau, Miele, BORA, Quooker and Siemens.

Richard Carter, Owner and Managing Director of Hobson’s Choice, said, “This year marks the 40th Anniversary of Hobson’s Choice – since 1977 we have been designing and installing beautiful kitchens, bathrooms and interiors in homes across the South of England. The Swindon studio is the established home of the company and the refurbishment of the space, as we turn 40, is well timed.

Our ideas have developed since we last designed the studio in 2011; the emphasis on the kitchen as a family living space within the home has gained ever greater prominence aided by the popularity of more sociable open-plan layouts.

Our new studio embraces this direction and looks to further develop our own design philosophy, with innovative combinations of materials, room divisions, seating layouts and atmospheric lighting. It has been a labour of love for all of the Swindon design team for many months and our installers have done an incredible job of realising our plans. We were probably their most ‘picky’ clients!

In the coming months, we will be hosting a variety of events to bring the studio to life. I would encourage anyone looking for inspiration for their new project to come and see the studio for themselves. We are all very proud and look forward to welcoming many new visitors and showing them around.”
