Chocolate Brownies
Dark and delicious

PREP TIME: 20 minutes
APPLIANCE: Steam oven - Setting 170C / 30% humidity
COOKING TIME: 40 -45 minutes

Ingredients
450g caster sugar
150g plain flour
65g cocoa powder
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
225g butter, melted
½ tsp vanilla essence
4 large eggs, beaten
125g plain chocolate, chopped
125g white chocolate, chopped
Method
Grease and line a 20.5cm x 30.5cm tin. Preheat the combination steam oven at 170°C/30%
Place the sugar in a large bowl, sieve in the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Mix well.
Add the melted butter, vanilla and eggs and beat until well combined.
Fold in the chocolate making sure it is evenly distributed in the mixture.
Pour into the prepared tin and bake for 40-45 minutes until just set.
Cool the brownies in the tin before removing and cutting into squares.
