The Brief
The client’s wanted two key things from their master ensuite. Firstly, a design that made the most of the limited space and slightly awkward shaped room and secondly a design that was contemporary and on trend.
The Design
A multitude of visual techniques such as reflective materials and clever lighting make it feel wider, more open, and above all modern.
“The new bathroom feels both inviting and relaxing to be in, and although small, it certainly is a statement.”
The plan
Removing the bath automatically opened up the design possibilities. However, the long, narrow layout needed some thought to make it seem less like a corridor.
The solution was to include a decorative Rimadesio screen in front of the shower screen. This feature adds definition and helps to reduce the visual length of the room.
