The Design

The layout provides everything a cook would require to comfortably prepare a meal whilst conversing with guests at a nearby table. Push to open doors along the front of the island, and deep drawers on the back, offer lots of storage opportunities.

The dark anthracite lacquered island with a minimal stainless steel worktop presents a thoroughly modern style, softened by the natural grain of the grey oak tall units.

The narrow legs appear to defy gravity as they hold aloft the solid island form.

The drawers feature bulthaup organisational systems, finished in walnut to match the Pocket door interior. The wavy natural grain of the wood looks beautiful alongside the dark lacquered drawer front and minimal stainless steel handle.
