The Brief
As the first display seen by people passing by or entering the showroom, the kitchen had to be visually stunning. It also had to be highly functional, capable of showing clients lots of different ideas and used as a live demonstration area.
The Design
Our designers chose the book-matched Olive wood veneer's flowery grain for its visual impact and natural warmth. The strong horizontal pattern accentuates the kitchen island giving it a unique appearance. The bespoke timber breakfast bar is more subtle in appearance whilst being slightly rougher and more pleasing to the touch.
The floor to ceiling cabinetry is finished in bulthaup b3 Flint laminate, a hard-wearing, easy to clean surface that complements the olive wood in tone. Gaggenau appliances provide all of the cooking, cooling and cleaning required in this high-end kitchen design.
Along the sink run, bulthaup b3 sand-beige aluminium wall panels provide a golden backdrop for the olive wood wall-hung units. The bulthaup b3 function wall system allows useful elements such as herb pot holders, lighting and shelving. A bulthaup b3 mixer tap extrudes from the wall above the sink area, making the cleaning process just a little bit easier.
The bulthaup b3 Function Boxes provide storage solutions for everyday items such as spice jars and knives.
DETAILS
The drawer box system keeps everything in place. As with the other kitchen elements, the finishes can be tailored to suit your style.
The gaggenau induction and teppanyaki cooktop controls are mounted on the front of the island for quick and easy adjustment.
